There are a couple of public meetings coming up that may be of interest.

On Thursday 24th April, VuePoint Consulting will be running a public consultation on a planning application they intend to submit for the use of land at The Camber, Old Portsmouth as a base for theBritish America’s Cup Team. It will run between 2:30pm and 8pm and is at the Royal Albert Yacht Club,17 Pembroke Road,PO1 2NT.

On Wednesday 30th April, the council is running a drop in session to discuss possible changes to Henderson Road. It will run between 5:30pm and 7:30pm at the Cockleshell Community Centre.

UPDATE: A string of rather confusing e-mails suggests the latter meeting may now be cancelled to comply with purdah rules - i.e. the rules put in place to stop the abuse of the council decision making process for electoral reasons.
